So you know I'm still alive...

August is the worst. July I could handle because we hade stuff to do, but I need to get back to school and do stuff, such as complaining about school.
I was playing Age of Wonders. My fingers are all stiff and my finger is aching because I have to drag my finger a little square. Then my sister just came in and asked if she could go on the Internet. I said no because I think that she was being rude.
My cousins are at my house. The ones that were in the Aladdin play that I told you guys about. I also went to the Tim Horton’s with the Pastor at my church. He’s an okay guy and is starting a new church in a nearby city. I don’t know why I called it my church, since I don’t actually go there anymore.
That is all. I’m still alive.

Waiting for School and New Books

I’m going back to school on September the 6th. I’m going to go check things out and readjust to my school again. I have no idea what my courses are though. Well, that’s not true. I know that I’m doing English, Math, Ancient History, Communications Technology, Visual Art, Latin and some stuff about Anthropology, Sociology and Physiology. I just don’t know the order they will be in.
Well, today I went to the mall and we picked up some books. I got a Forgotten Realms book called Spellfire, by Ed Greenwood who is the creator of the Forgotten Realms. This is apparently the first Forgotten Realms novel ever written. I also got a new notebook that has cool leather covering. I plan on carrying it around in my pocket and taking notes on my various universes spinning around in my head, stuff like breif descriptions of the various Dragonlords of Saranold, Emperors of the Americo-Chinese Empire and Popes of the Gnostic Catholic Church, quotes of important figures in these various worlds like Naos, Daina, Nai’Atha, The Rius and so forth. Stuff like that. I’d post these on my blog, but I’m afraid someone might steal my ideas. I may do it sometime in the future, but I’m not making any promises.
I’m going to work on my various worlds know, Later.

Q: Why do we blog, A: For blog's sake

Well, Dad got me the first Baldur’s Gate, which doesn’t have as many characters. It’s fun, but we don’t have a memory card. This means that every time my character dies, I have to start the whole damn game over again. It is very annoying. I’d just like to get past the first level of sewers.
Other then that things are great. I’m reading three books as of yet. First is Exile, which is the second book in the Dark Elf trilogy, chronicling the origins of the drow ranger, Drizzt Do’Urden. I’m not enjoying it as much as the last book, but I think I’ll continue reading the series for reasons as of yet unknown to me.
The second book is Hidden Empire, in a series I have started reading called Saga of the Seven Suns. It’s by Kevin J. Anderson who helped write the Dune prequels with Brian Herbert, Frank Herbert’s son. I think Kevin J. Anderson’s work is influenced by Frank Herbert, the plot seems complex enough with all these characters and the interplay of politics which is what Frank Herbert is known for in the Dune series. Also, it is an incredibly detailed and interesting world.
The third is K-PAX II, On a Beam of Light, it’s part of a ominbus that my sister got me on her trip to England. I’d half to say that the K-PAX series is an interesting set of books from what I understand. But it makes me feel nervous when eating meat. See, prot and other K-PAXians don’t eat meat because all other animals are apparently sentient or something.
Also, I would like to recommend Hyperion by Dan Simmons. It’s a wonderful science fiction novel that I guess you could describe as the Canterbury Tales in a science fiction environment. See, it takes place mainly on this planet called Hyperion, where the people worship this alien killing machine known as the Shrike, and they are getting this last pilgrimage to the Shrike, but no one in this pilgrimage actually follows the Shrike Church, and as a way of survival the people tell each other how they wound up on this pilgrimage. Thru these stories we get an understanding of Hyperion, and the space empire of the Hegemony of Man, as well as the odd circumstances for these people’s pilgrimage. I loved it, I recommend it to everyone.
Well, that’s all. Ta ta.

I'm back from the Cottage

I’m back from my relative’s cottage. Sorry I couldn’t post.
Well, My trip to my relative’s cottage was okay. I was a little bored for a while and I’m glad to be back home. We rented a Playstation 2, and I’m a little sad that we couldn’t get Baldur’s Gate II. I did get a Star Trek game that I hope will be fun, but I don’t know if it will be. To tell you the truth, I found the last Star Trek game I played kind of difficult.
I hope that my blogging picks up by School. I’m getting fed up with this summer vacation thing.

I'm Okay

I just wanted to say that I am alright. Recently nothing much has happened, I made an unsuccessful attempt at getting a job, and I’m going to see my cousin in a play tonight. Goodbye, I will talk more about this later.

The Woman Who Married Her Son's Wife

Awhile back I went to the library and picked up a book of folk tales. I was reading Otherland at the time and stories where a reoccurring theme, so it stood out to me and I decided to take it out.
I read a story in it today. It’s an old inuit tale that goes something like this.
Once there was an old woman who fell in love with her son’s wife. One day while here son was out hunting she made herself a penis out of sealbones and skin, hung it around her waist and went over to show her son’s wife, who liked it and they slept together. The old woman started hunting for the girl. The wife’s husband came back from hunting one day and saw that there where already seals in front of the igloo. His wife didn’t tell him anything. So the husband hide out and waited for whoever was leaving these seals behind to come over. Then he saw his mother coming up with a big hooded seal on her Kayak. This is where my understanding of the story gets tricky, because I think that it says that only the man and his mother where capable of killing hooded seals. Anyway, the old woman got out and started sweet talking her son’s wife, but her son killed her and told his wife that they have to leave because they are in a cursed place.
Reading that, it is easy to imagine that this is just some story telling people that homosexuality is bad. It may be, but there is one more part at the end, because when the young woman learned that her husband has killed the old lady, she cried and said "You killed my husband." And she wouldn’t stop crying.

You know what else bugs me...(a continuation of “You know what really bugs me,”)

I was doing the dishes with my sister Delila, I dry, she washes. I don’t really know how this came up, but she said that she figure I’ll be living with my parents till I’m thirty.
I was offended. She was basically saying that I can’t look after myself. That hurt me, because she makes it sound like she thinks I’m retarded. I know that’s politically incorrect, but that’s what I think she thinks. And this bothers me. I find it very insulting. Sure I haven’t really done anything independent in my life, but for Christ’s sake I’m fifteen!
I’m going to show her. I’m going to go to college (or university, whichever concentrates on the imaginary part of the brain) and I’m going to move to Toronto. Once it was just a dream, but know it’s a must. I’m going to become a great writer, and Delila can rot behind a desk for all I care.
I guess it sounds that I’m angry. I don’t actually feel angry, just insulted, tired and hot. Bye.

Really Good Books

Have you ever read a book that you got so into that you hade to finish it that very night? I have. I almost did last night, but I figure if I work really hard on it I can finish said book tonight. It’s the last volume of the Otherland Series. What do you call a series of four books anyway, a quadrilogy?
The last book that gave me this feeling was Homeland, by R.A. Salvatore. It’s part of a trilogy talking about Drizzt Do’Urden, a dark elf ranger who unlike the rest of his species is a pretty decent guy (How bad can dark elves be? There goddess is psychotic, killing other houses is a common way of getting your family promoted, and, well, read the book). I think it was I just didn’t want Drizzt to end up spending the rest of his life in the Dark Elf city. I mean, I know that there are a lot of other books about Drizzt, and they took place outside of Menzoberranzan (said dark elf city), but I was still nervous about it.
Incidently, this kind of suspense is also in Otherland V4, Sea of Silver Light. Dread, this guy who really likes to kill things, usually women, is currently controlling the Otherland system and all of the characters in it are in danger. Last time I left them, Dread was preparing for a final assault on the Other’s simulation world, where all the people are currently in. I’m a little nervous about how all this turns out, and I will be reading this book right after I finish this bit, which should be right about know.

Delila's Home

You all remember my sister Dilila. Well, two weeks ago she went to London, England. I may have told you about this, but I can't remember and I'm to lazy to check. Anyway, she just came back and everyone is happy, because it was so quite without her to complain about my lips smacking when I eat.
Oh happy days.
Anyway, in England she got my an Oxford university T-shirt and a copy of K-PAX, the trilogy omnibus. I was unaware that K-PAX was a series. That is all.

What me and Loncrow did yesterday and this morning

So Loncrow did make it. First we played a fantasy RPG called Everquest on his Playstation 2. I was an Iskar Shaman (Iskars are like giant lizards). Then we watched The Last Samurai. After that Loncrow helped me download Age of Wonders onto my laptop and we played a game in which I was the lizard-men and he was the orcs. This was followed by Loncrow falling asleep and me playing Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance.
During this time, me and Loncrow worked on an RPG taking place in Mythania. I’m a little on edge about marketing it, because I’m worried that it may become all messed up. If I do, I would like to market it as a Computer RPG, because I had fun on the ones I played during this time.
I’d like to get a Playstation 2 one of these days, but I doubt my parents would get me one because Sprite would spend too much time on it.
I lent Loncrow my copy of Otherland V1.

It’s 4:10 and Loncrow isn’t here. I’m getting worried.

Killing Time with nonsence

Okay, I’m waiting for my friend Loncrow to come and it’s driving me crazy. I haven’t seen him in quite sometime, not since before summer. It’s going to be great, were going to go to Microplay and rent movies from Rogers video and play on his Playstation 2. It’s going to be fun. Know I am going to extend this for as long as I can.
Die Time, Die.
With Gravity defeated, we can fly.
-Fighter, 8 bit theatre

I first met Loncrow in my elementary school days. I usually walked alone playing out scenarios and such. I was looking for a friend and for some reason Loncrow seemed like a good candidate. It was good we played imaginary games of Pokemon and such things. Later Ruric came into the picture and it was good. I was a little resilient to the change at first, but Ruric eventually grew on me.

Dear God! Could I Be A Phenomeon?

So at dinner, I told my parents that there were like three people making comments on my blog that I have never met before. My mom then says that I she heard from AlphaAunt that if someone types Aspergers Syndrome or Aspie onto a search engine on Google, I will eventually show up. So after dinner I did a search on Google, I gave up after a few pages, but It’s still freaking me out a little. I did find another sit that talks about blogshares and I didn’t know that blogs even had shares.
This is all making me wonder if I am some kind of phenomenon in the making. Could it be possible that because of my blog I will become one of those famous Aspies like Temple Grandin or something. This is a lot to take in. Especially that there are people who are reading my blog that I don’t know about. So please, anyone who hasn’t commented, PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS! LET ME KNOW THAT YOU ARE OUT THERE!
Also, my friend Loncrow will be coming over tomorrow. Just so you know.

Human of The Week

I have made a new blog called Human of the Week. In human of the week, I will talk about a human I believe deserves to be talked about for a great achievement in humanity. The first is Jesus, since he is one, if not the, most influential persons in human history.
I recommend you check it out, I’ll have a link to it on my blog. This has been an Aspie Diaries service announcement.

What I Did On My Weekend

All right, Last Weekend I went up to my Aunt and Uncle’s cottage. There where actually quite a lot of people there, so I will be using a handy list to tell you who was there without giving away their names.
AlphaAunt, Aunt who owns cottage
AlphaUncle, Uncle who owns cottage
Seal, oldest son of AlphaAunt and AlphaUncle
Monkey, youngest son of AlphaAunt and AlphaUncle, autistic
BetaAunt, Mom’s youngest sister
BetaUncle, BetaAunt’s Husband and New Zealander
BucketHead, BetaAunt and BetaUncle’s son, still a little tyke
RainbowSunshine, BetaAunt and BetaUncle’s daughter, still a little baby
Mom’s Mom, my grandma
Mom’s Dad, my grandpa
I’m calling AlphaAunt and AlphaUncle’s kids Seal and Monkey because when I was little I had everyone in my family attached to a certain kind of animal. I’m calling BetaAunt and BetaUncle’s kids BucketHead and RainbowSunshine because those were suggestions made by Monkey for names when BetaAunt was carrying BucketHead.
There, so Mom’s Mom and Dad picked me up and we all went to this cottage and I stayed there for the weekend. I had fun and I went tubing. Tubing is when you get this big floating thing that looks like a donut and you tie it to the back of a motorboat and drag it around very fast. I also did some work on a third version of the first Naos story. I really think this is going to be the final version.
There was also a bad joke that AlphaUncle made about me and Seal coming up to the cottage with six women. I didn’t think it was that funny because I don’t think that I nor Seal could handle three women. I made a comment that four of these women had better be lesbians. My reasoning was that me and Seal could handle one heterosexual woman each and the rest could handle themselves. AlphaAunt was offended by this for some reason I am not quite sure off.
On Saturday we rented Napoleon Dynamite, because they hadn’t seen it. On Sunday I went home.
