There are strangers here

I've been looking over my blog and I have discovered that new people have found my blog and are making comments. These new people are called Shelia and Sympops. I know Shelia is a writer with a superman fetish. Sympops is an aspie who dosn't like Islamic Fundamentalists (who dosn't).
I don't know if this bothers me or not. I'm having people come out of nowhere and read my blog. I figure Sympops just typed Aspie in the thing and found this. I guess Shelia found me because were both writers and she was looking for other writers or something. But how these people found my blog is not what's bothering me. I guess it's that people I have not previously met are reading my blog.
I'm wondering what this means for the future. Is this the precurssor of a bunch of people reading my blog from around the world. That would be kind of cool, I suppose. Only time will tell. Anyway, here's some blogthings I did.

The Craziest Days of the Craziest Month of the Craziest Year in Christendom

According to science-fiction Writer-Gods, Robert A. Heinlein and Spider Robinson, this time in human history will be known as the crazy years, and future generations (if any) will look back on us and say how the hell did we survive? or See, this is why we didn't survive and are living a million miles underground, Damn you, Twelve Monkeys. So any way, since the Christian west pretty much controls the rest of the world, and Christmas is coming up all the people are going crazy. Like many things, I blame this on Reptilian alien-demons from alternate earths of strife and destruction. You'll learn more about these guys once I get around to writing Song of the Sixties.
Anyways, I'm not really envolved in this mad shopping and I'm not really sure that I want too. I like getting stuff for Christmas, but I'm not sure this is right. I'm not even sure Jesus wants us to worship him, let alone go crazy on the day that we say it's his birthday. (It happens to be the same birthday as Osiris and Dionysus, also guys who came back from the dead for the good of humanity. May just be when they all go out for coffee who cares?).
I was thinking maybe I could get around this by writing everyone a story. It dosn't have to cost me any money and it comes from the heart, which is alot more sincere then an Ipod. The only problem is that I'm not sure that everyone would enjoy a story I wrote. My little sister had this whole thing about me writing the word damn in a story. What do you guys think

Secrecy is key

There are things that I can't talk about on my blog. Secret things I am not comfortable with the people who read my blog knowing (i.e. my parents, grandparents and such). Mom and Dad, you know what I'm talking about. Steph, I've told you about it. Everyone else is completely in the dark. In some ways I envy the fact that Steph's parents don't have access to her blog. She can talk about all kinds of stuff without worrying that her parents will get ahold of it.
On other subjects. I am finsihed my English essay. Huzah! Huzah! Huzah! I don't have to wrack my brains out over it. And just in time for new episodes of Doctor Who and Heroes. The Haitian finally speaks. You know the Haitian, the creepy black dude working for Mr. Bennet. There's also something about that guy who gives of radiation. He may be the guy who destroys New York. Goody goody goody.

Graphic Novel Ideas and the coming of East Coast City

I have an extension on my English essay. That's good. All I really need is to tidy it up a bit and get some quotations from the text. Oh, and write out a bibliography first. I'd like to thank my mom for giving me an early Christmas present to help (my very own copy of V for Vendetta. I am a happy little anarchist)
Right now I will not worry about such things. I'm at the library and I found this book by Neil Gaiman called The Last Temptation. It's a graphic novel with Alice Cooper in it, which looks pretty cool. Me and my writer's group are thinking about coming up with our own graphic novels. As I have brought up, I have an interest in writing and drawing my own comic books. I have some ideas for them, here's what I've got.
  • The Second Coming, (working title) A story about how Jesus came back from the dead and comes to terms with stuff. It's a tie-in with my Song of The Sixties story ark. It starts of in an Easy Rider style with Jesus and Krishna going on a road trip across a fictional landscape of the human imagination were they join up with Buddha, Mary Magdalene, various greek and roman gods, Nai'Atha Farwalker and Azrin Zeynborn and maybe even Ralph. Yeah, let's put Ralph in it. It ends with Jesus regaining his role as the founder of Christianity and how he tries to stear it back in the right deriection. In the end he is killed by the Religious Right.
  • Pacifica, a superhero series inspired a bit by Warren Ellis' The Authority. It takes place in a world similar to ours were superhero's are just beginning to become public knowledge. A bunch of people have colonized a small island in the Pacific ocean and have begun to build a Utopian society. When they begin to be attacked by other nations, they begin to gather together a team of superheros to protect them, that eventually become a global protection force. I don't have the heroes just yet, but I have an idea for one. He's a half-lizard Japanese soldier form WWII, named Kambei Kurosawa. His code name is the Untouchable. He's based off of old American comics that portrayed the Japanese as fanged monsters. I don't mean this to be racist, I just thought this would make an interesting character. The name is derived from Akira Kurosawa (Japanese director who created "The Seven Samurai" great movie) and one of the main characters from that movie, Kambei. I suppose there's a bit of Seven Samurai in it too. Hm, I'm using that theme in the Apocalypse novel as well. You think I can use the same plot element twice.
  • Something staring Lord Byron. I just thought I could do something starring Lord Byron against various dark forces in my Mythos. Does this sound to corny or would it actually work? If it does, then Lord Byron will be the second Romantic Poet to make it into my Mythos. William Blake is already a champion of the Grail and his own Mythos is going to be mixed with mine.
I also came up with an idea for a new world to write stories in, though I havn't got any ideas. It's based of the City in Transmetropolitan, which is basically this sprawling metropolis were hundreds of cultures are born every day. I call it East Coast City and it streatched from New York to the Great Lakes. Its the hube of the Human Trading Empire and is home to over six billion people, a dozen different species and millions of different cultures.
I don't have any idea what these cultures are, but there's alot. The main culture would be around an area called the Eye, which is were all the commerce is held. It shouldn't be to far from New York, which has begun to sink, similar to Venice. (I stole this from Dan Simmon's Hyperion. A character mentions something called the New York Archepelego). New York has a mainly Muslim population in East Coast City and is known as Al-New York. There's still scatterings of Jews and Catholism. There should also be various sub-cultures who are basically primitive tribes living in this vaste world.
There should also be this one big strip of area inhabited by Bohemian Anarchists, some of whom are my desendents. This entire area is a self-contained anarchist utopia were people do as they please. I think I'll have it on the Canada side of the great lakes, near my home-town.
I don't have any idea what kinds of aliens will live here. I think I'm going to have one race of aliens that looks like the Greys. Don't know what I'll call them. Maybe an alien race similar to the Draan from Mythania. Another race of rodent people, similar to Ralph. Another race that is a big empire thing and is the dominant military power. (Humanity is the dominent economic power because it's at the hub of a giant worm-hole net. The rodent people used to be slaves of the emperial race, but some escaped and started various colonies, such as the one in East Coast City. Let's see this is the current species....
  1. Humans
  2. Rarrte, the rodent people
  3. Darii, the draan stand ins
  4. To'Dornar, the big military power
  5. Greys, The Grey aliens of UFO fame. Should have a kind of Bene Gesserit thing about them. Nobody trusts them, nobody can do without them. Called Greys because they're true name is unpernouncable.
  6. N/A
  7. N/A
  8. N/A
  9. N/A
  10. N/A
  11. N/A
  12. N/A
That's all I got for East Coast City. I plan on doing sketches of it though. You'll see it.
One last thing, when I do the pictures, I'd like it to have various advertisements for political candidates and products, but I want to have fun with it. Like "Ebola Cola. You drink it, it drinks you." I can't use that because it's from Transmetropolitan, but if anyone can come up with products for the future metropolis of East Coast City I'd appreciate it.

Essays, more on Litvenko and Tur-pope-in.

Well, havn't blogged in awhile. So I might as well start now. Since it's the last day of November 2006. This month will never come again people. Just my luck it's raining outside.
So, I am supposed to be working on my English essay, which is due tommorrow, but I'm blogging instead, as you can see. This seems to be how I write stuff. The essay is basically me talking about Individualism and the counter-culture using various sources. I'm using Brave New World, by Aldous Huxley, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, by Ken Kesey, V for Vendetta, by Alan Moore, and the first three issues of Transmetropolitan. I've been working on it for weeks and I need a break. This dosn't look good for any future jobs, but I can't write that essay for much longer.
Let's talk about Alexander Litvenko for awhile. You remember that guy, claims to have been killed by the Kremlin. Well, it comes to my attention that this may be just one of those frauds. I don't know what to read, but Mr. Litvenko's Ghost. If your reading this and you faked this whole thing, then I'd like to curse your grave. I'm against oppresive regimes too, but you could at least blame them for things they've done, and not something you said they did. If you actually were poisoned by Putin, then good on you, but if you facked it, I am really disapointed. I wrote something that I thought was really touching man.
Next, Pope Benedict is in Turkey, trying to make up for saying that Muslims convert by the sword, something Christianity never did. Cough cough Conqistadors, cough cough, Crusades, cough cough. Sorry, about that. Damn seasonal allergies. Anyway, Pope Benny has been in really hot water ever since the whole ancient Byzantine text fiascoe and Muslims around the world are so pissed of about the Pope accusing Muslims of being violent that they've rioted, and killed a nun. Great idea by the way, prove your not being violent by attacking stuff. When you look at it really, the Pope's comments are a powder keg. He's the most powerful man on the planet, not just because he's the leader of the largest religious following on the planet, but because of a long history, he's also the leader of a religious group that has seriously pissed of alot of Muslims, especially fanatics like Bin-Laden, who are just looking for an excuse to kill everyone on the planet.
One last thing. Aparently one protestor at the Pope's gathering hade a sign saying "Haghia Sophia is Turkish and will remain Turkish." To him I say, who cares? Can't we all keep Hagia Sophia. Break down the useless political bounderies and unite in human brotherhood man. That's all.

Your life is pretty darn perfect. You don't have much to complain about.
Of course, your life is occasionally less than perfect. But you're usually too happy to notice.

And now here's something you'll really like...

Awhile ago, Steph made the post that you can go to via a link the title. I don't know how to express the thought I hade any other way then this.

Rocky the flying squirrel: And now, here's something you'll really like...
Me: Wah! Who the hell are you?
Rocky: I'm Rocky the flying squirrel.
Me: No seriously.
Rocky: Seriously.
Me: Well don't sneak up on me.
Rocky: I didn't.
Me: Did so.
Rocky: I didn't.
Me: did so.
Rocky: didn't
Me: did.
Rocky: didn't
Me: did.
(Naos walks in)
Naos: Hey, Writer. Who's this?
Me: Rocky the flying squirrel.
Naos: From the cartoon?
Me: I guess?
Naos: What's he doing here.
Rocky: I'm showing him something he'll really like.
Bullwinkle: Hey Rocky.
Me, Naos and Rocky: WAH!
Me: What the hell.
Rocky: Bullwinkle!
Naos: This means those Soviet stand ins are going to appear and they still want me for instigating the Freedonia incident, I'm out of here.
Ralph: And now here's something you'll really like.
Rocky: That's my line.

School and saying goodbye to a hero

Me and my dad hade a talk awhile ago about stuff. I've hade a bit of a bad day today because I was far too stressed out and I have no idea how to deal with it. I yelled at some kids who were fighting to stop and I yelled at my EA who was frustrating me because she was hanging over me all the time and telling me to do things and it's driving me crazy and I just cried and hade to go home.
Dad says that I need to learn a lot of things before I reach my ultimate goal of moving out of my house. He says that I need to learn how to pay more attention to my surroundings and manage my time better. This kind of scares me as I don't know how to do this. However, if I want to reach my goal of becoming independent then I'll have to learn how to do this. Also, this would make one heck of a memoir.
Awhile ago I talked about a Russian spy named Alexander Litvenko...
In recent news, a Russian spy has been poisoned recently in unknown cercumstances. It's a pretty interesting story. There's suspition that Purin, leader of Russia is behind this, because the spy, Alexander Litvinenko, has hade some difficulty with the whole Putin-having-his-opponents-killed-off-thing. The poison of choice is believed to be thallium, which looks like salt or sugar, disolves in water and has no odure, but it may be something else. I find this all very interesting. I hade little knowledge about what goes on in Russia. I imagine since there isn't a risk of the Russians dropping an atomic bomb on our heads we don't have much of a visible reason to worry about them. Still, this is kind of disturbing. If Putin's in the mood to knock of his opponents and risk to his regime, then we may soon see Communist Russia come back like a big atomic pheonix. Anyway, if your reading this Mr. Litvinenko, I'm roughting for youl. Keep sticking it to the man.
I am sorry to say that Alexander Litvinko died today in a British hospital. I give my condolences to Mr. Litvinko's family and freinds, if there reading this. Litvinko is a credit to the human species, and coming from me that is a very, very big compliment. May Alexander's legacy of brining up corruption in Putin's government live long after his death. I was going to give Mr. Litvinko an award for his effort, even if that effort would only be a mention on my blog. I hope that his family would approve.
Bye.

Update on the school front

I have a stress test in health tommorrow. See, I've been learning about stress, which I have alot off, and how it negativly effects my health. That dosn't really help any in making me feel less stress. Either way, I am feeling optomistic about this test, even if I havn't done much in the way of studying as of yet. Maybe it's because I was successful in my presentation of Marxist Criticism in The Glass Menagerie. Show them a bit of The Matrix and read them a poem with the F-word in it and you got them eating out of your hand. Eew.

The Dutch Are At It Again.

In the political world, The Dutch are at it again. First they make that rude comic about the Prophet Muhammad, and now the conservative government wants to bane burkas. Now, I havn't heard what the Muslim women have to say about this, but I get the distinct impression that this is not a good idea.
Listen, Dutch Prime Minister Jan Balkenende, you are walking on thin ice here. I know Immigration Minister Rita Verdonk says that banning burqas from streets, trains, schools, buses and courts of law will promote integration, but you are dealing with people who have been really pissed off by having the man who started their religion portrayed as a murderer. You don't want to give them another excuse to hate the Netherlands. What are you going to do next? Make pork mandatory?
I can't say I understand the issue, because the article on the CBC website is kind of boring and I couldn't get to another article. What I think is that we should let people were whatever they want. Aside from making muslims more pissed off at the Dutch government, this is an infringement of freedom. People should be able to wear whatever they feel like. At the risk of sounding like a paranoid television show host, if the Dutch ban burkas were will they stop? Will they ban T-shirts with Che Guevera because he is a disadent? Will they ban t-shirts because they promote hedonism? Will they make everyone in the Netherlands dress alike until nobody can tell anybody apart? I admit this may be my imagination flying, but the government shouldn't control what people wear. People should wear whatever they want.
Yeah, the women in question probubly don't have much of a choice. Which brings me to extremist Muslim clerics. Yeah, you guys didn't think I'd get to you. What's the deal hiding your women? I know that you have this whole thing about dressing modestly, but don't you think the burka is a bit pushing it. I'm not going to get into that whole arguement about how Muslim women don't need to wear the burka or the normal head-scarf, I don't see the point. I just don't see why women have to wear burkas.
Men don't have to wear burkas. Men can be just as attractive as women. Not that I like men that way, I'm just saying that men can be really attractive. That's why women are suppose to wear burka's right? Your afraid that someone will rape her because she's pretty? First, that's kind of a negative view point. Men don't think about sex all the time, I know I don't. And if people are thinking about sex all the time they should be looked after. Maybe show them a few shots of people with genetal herpes. The point is women should be able to walk around in public with there face showing.
In conclusion, The Dutch are the most to blame at the moment, but burkas are still a bit extreme. I'm not Muslim, so I can't really say if wearing a burka is ethical or not, unless it's summer then you have to take it of because it's to freaking hot. I can really give is a message to Dutch Muslim Women. What do you want to wear? You should have the right to wear whatever you want too? And if you want to wear a burka that's fine. You don't want to wear a burka that's fine too. You have the choice, unless off course that choice is being used by shovinist male pigs, or just shovinist male preists if they're Muslims. (I don't want to call you guys pigs because of the whole rule about pigs). Either way, you should be able to make your own choices and not be told what to wear by your government or your religion.
I hope that this has proved intersting and informative.

Untitled

I'm not really sure how this post is going to come out. I suppose that I could just do another long rant about how I'm being flooded with homework and how English is driving me nuts and how I desire a freedom unknown to me at this time, but who want's to read that? Is this what my life amounts too? Me whining about my day at school? Sigh.
This should be about my musings. I should be writing stuff that's important here. Instead I just bitch about English class and how I feel that I am trapped in my current life and I don't know how to get out. I feel so small and useless thinking about this. Do any of you enjoy reading about how much I complain?
Things I should write about...
  1. Poems. I write poetry sometimes. I should put up some poems.
  2. Photography. I don't have a camera, but some pictures would be nice to have around the blog. I don't have any pictures of me with my Jacket of OK-ness and my new +2 Bandana of Roses.
  3. More political and cultural commentaries. This means that I should try and read more about politics. I can do that.
  4. Be more honest with people. There are some thing about me that you don't know. I'm not sure I want to go through and tell you today, but I figure I might have to tell you eventually. Might be beneficial.
  5. GET A SOCIAL LIFE! I need to spend more time with people. I need to learn more about people and I need to start making freinds. I got freinds at the moment but I want them to be better freinds.

This is a bunch of stuff I heard on my yahoo radio. I'm using this as a list so I'll remember to get them. You can look into it for yourself

  • Tomorrow, (album Tomorrow. Song: Three Jolly Little Dwarves). Very psychedelic feel, along with a folkish element. Weird, must get.
  • Athletes (album: Tourist, Song: Wires) Judged this awhile ago. Has a depressed kind of sound with a bit of majesty. I can see how it is good. There are some jumps but I don't know if there intentional. Should check this out.
  • The Coasters, (album: 50 Coastin' Classics. Song: Charlie Brown) This is a good song. Catchy, has this good trumpet thing going. The lyrics are good and simple and the song isn't heavy. It's a nice light fun song.
  • The Rutles, just out of curiousity. There a parody of The Beatles by Eric Idle of Monty Python fame.

I want to be a writer. This damn blogging system won't let me end this as a paragraph so we got a run on paragraph or whatever you call this. Kind of like in lines of Alan Ginsberg's poetry. I got the complete collection of his poetic works at the public library. It's pretty good, but I have some difficulty understanding most of it. I have that problem with poetry.

I'm reading The Glass Menagerie in English. Well, I have read it more or less three times over. What with my feelings of overwhelmingness and lack of control oaround my own life I feel a certain kinship with the character Tom. Tom has to support his family by working at a job he hates and has every detail of his life closely monitered by his mother, Amanda. The only liberation he can find is going to the movies night after night, and drinking alcohol. I'm not an alcoholic or have to support my family, but I feel that I am in more or less the place Tom is in. We both have little control over our lives. God I am so goth today.

If Putin's in the mood to knock of his opponents and risk to his regime, then we may soon see Communist Russia come back like a big atomic pheonix. Anyway, if your reading this Mr. Litvinenko, I'm roughting for youl. Keep sticking it to the man.

This is Writer. Signing out.

Trip to Toronto

Yesterday I went to an Animation Institute I forgot the name of in Toronto. It was fun and I got to make an animated short with these two kids from my school I usually don't hang out with. We made this guy who was originally going to be Ralph, but he became this creature I rename Carson. He goes a break dance and then walks away.
The real fun part was seeing all the cool stores. Some guys I usually hang out with at school showed me this clothing store called Blackmarket, which sells Vinatage clothing and stuff like that. I got a bandanna which I am wearing know and a bunch of new buttons. Buttons are my thing at the moment, I have a good collection of them. We also went to the Silver Snail were I picked up issues 5 and 6 of The Eternals by Neil Gaiman and a thing called Devi from Virgin Comics. I may have made a link there but I can't remember. I'll do it for this post anyway.
Anyway, one of the interesting bits of my trip was a woman walked up to me and asked me were she could find THC. I thought she was talking to my freind, who said that we didn't. I didn't find this strange, but I did tell them that I was sorry we didn't know. Then my freind turned to me and said "She was talking to you. She wanted to know were she could find some marijuana." I found this endlessly amusing. Apparently, THC is the stuff in marijuana that makes you high.
Mom is very happy that I could go to Toronto on my own, since she was worried that I wouldn't be able to do that. This is good for me also, since I plan on living in Toronto at some point. I also found a place that sells groceries down town so that would be place for me to get food.

I want to go to the movies

Why does school chafe at me so much? Why do I have to go threw this agonizing process every day of my adolescents. I feel overwhelmed and cloistered and it's driving me nuts. What is that line in Monkey Buisness "I want adventure, I want excitement, I want to ha-cha-cha" something to that effect. Anyway, things seem to pile up on top of me. English, mainly. I seem to get tired by Resource and then I'm all cranky in English. My EA dosn't help much, she's all "Did you do your work. YOu didn't do your work? We'll your screwed." Yes, I'm lazy and I have a poor memory but for the most part I just don't care. That's probubly the problem with my memory, I just don't care.
Anyway, we've been working on a post-modernist story in groups. I joined a group with a bunch of crazy RPG freaks. We did a story about an anti-hero known as Bimp the Bog Imp. Bimp works in an office building and has recently broken up with his girl freind Bodyknock the Gnome, who is seeing Izbin the gnome know. He is betrayed by his only freind, a dead fish and is fired from his job for destroying half the building. In the end he commits suicide. I wrote all his notes. They wear all purposly misspelt.
Lastly, I joined a forum of Michael Moorcock fans. It is called Moorcock's Miscellany. I go under the name of The Mythanian. Here's a link. Know if you excuse me House is on.

My birthday is today.

Hey, anybody ever get that spam mail that advertises genital enlargement pills? You ever get insulted by that. I mean, I don't care about that, but you think someone would sue them for that kind of stuff. Can you sue people for that?
Anyway, back to real news. It's my birthday, huzzah. Hade to go to a Remembrance Day ceremony and I discovered something about myself. I can't comprehend the concept behind Remembrence Day. When people think of Remembrence Day, they remember all the people who died so we can be "free". When I think about Remembrence Day, I think of how stupid everyone is and how this whole Remembrence Day thing is just an excuse to continue fighting people. Sure, I'm glad that Hitler didn't win, but we could have easily saved the trouble of that by not screwing the Germans over. If we didn't screw the Germans over then we wouldn't have to deal with the Nazies and Hitler would be some painter who died in a slum somewhere in Munich or something. Anyway, I hade to leave because I just couldn't take it. I just can't except that this war can have any good reprecussions beyond some good music.
Anyway, I hade a big cry. Mom and Dad know what I'm talking about. One were I hade to go to the health room and my eyes were all red. I havn't head one of those in awhile. Then I walked around the place with my EA and we got some doughnuts from the staff room, which was fun because I don't get stuff like that usually. My EA made me eat a second half because she's worried I'd get skinny or something to that effect. She also said that I don't stress her, because no matter how bad I get it's not her fault. It's my parent's fault.
Anyway, birthday presents. This is what I got from my family.
  • Fragile Things, by Neil Gaiman
  • a new backpack
  • Three-Dragon Ante, a card game for Dungeons and Dragons.
  • A shirt
  • Five new buttons
  • Sprite made a cute picture of me saying "D&D is the coolest"
  • My EA gave me 40 pencils and a giant Mr. Big chocolate bar.

My EA gave me 40 pencils, two erasers and a really big Mr. Big bar.

Anyway, as you all know my good freind Loncrow will be coming today. He dosn't know it's my birthday, but quite franklty after not seeing him for a year tops, his presence will be enough (and that new D&D campaign setting his brother made and Soulcaliber III. Soulcaliber III is wikied awesome. I'm making Elric). Anyway, that's it. Bye for know.

Not back on till Bloody March!

It's not back on until March. They are taking Lost of the air and it won't be back on till March and it's at a good place. Character's lives hang in the balance. The head Other may die in an hour and I won't here anything until next year. I am so ticked off. God.
And to add to my excitement my birthday is coming up in two days. As I said, Loncrow will be over. For dinner I told Mom I want perogies. Loncrow will come and there will be D&D and Soulcaliber III (Rhyme not intened). I also made a list of things I wanted. I don't have it on me, so I'll write a breif list.
  • A button making machine, not a girly one that you get at the local toy shop.
  • Book of Exalted Deads, a Dungeons and Dragons source book for playing good characters. Mom said she's not getting it because she dosn't want to get me D&D stuff.
  • Oriental Adventures, a Dunegons and Dragons book with rules for playing in an Asian setting. I want access for the Samurai class for a Mythania RPG I'm working on for personal use. Again, not going to get it.
  • Galactic Civilizations II, a computer strategy game because I'm sick of playing Sims 2.
  • V for Vendetta, I cannot stress this enough, THE BOOK NOT THE MOVIE. I hate the mobie. V is much more better in the book. They humanized him way to much in the movie.
  • The Blues Brothers, I love this movie. Anyone who dosn't love this movie should have their brain examined. It's hilarious.
  • The Second or Third Season of Star Trek the Original Series, 'Nuff said.
  • The First Two Volumes of Transmetropolitan, Just read the first issue on the internet. Spider Jerusalem is so cool. I wouldn't want to emulate him but he's a great character. Read the comic by clicking here. I warn you it is not for young readers. It's from Vertigo.
  • Born to Run, a CD by Bruce Springsteen. Great album
  • The complete series of Firefly and the movie, Serenity. Great series. Fox should never have cancelled it. Bush, by the way, since you control Fox and everything I blame you. May you go to the Special Hell.

That's all I can think off. Oh, and the first two seasons of Lost would be good. Note to self, find out the name of fans of Lost.

But no one suspects that beneath his mild-mannered exterior, Writer is truly...somebody else?

I need a secret identity. I just realized this today. I need a persona in which I can pass unbenounced among my peers and the tyranny of the school board so I can blow of steam. I don't know how I'm going to do this, but I need to figure out somekind of method.
Before I go on I might as well say why I need a secret identity. Well, I was frustrated today in English. Me and some other guys have to write a postmodernist story in a certain way. I find this annoying and restricting and it just dosn't feel right. I openly compared it to giving birth to the Anti-christ. (One of the kids said not to worry about it, he already did). My EA took me to the side and bugged me about doing the rules. That and I have a stack of homework. I need a way of blowing of steam and a freedom from the suffocation surrounding me in society.
Anyway, that's it. And I am aware that this blog thing is in itself a secret identity, but to many people know it's me.

Post-Halloween PA day

First, I didn't tell anyone this but I watch and love Lost. It is one of the coolest television shows in existance, and last week I guessed the twist. See, the plot of Lost is that there's this plane crash between America and Austrailia and a bunch of people are stranded on this island with a bunch of people they call "The Others", not to menchion a French Lady and a bunch of polar bears, and a big ass black horse.
Well, I guessed the twist. See, I came up with the idea that there are two islands and the Others live on one, and the guys we see the most live on the other. And I was RIGHT! See, there's this whole thing about dualities, so I figured that there was another island and I was RIGHT! However, that's as far as I can go. I don't know why Desmond can predict the future know, except it has something to do with the Hatch.
Anyway, know we vear away from Lost to tell you my big annoucement. Loncrow's coming, yeah. I don't know if he reads my blog, but I hope he isn't intimidated by that. It's just so great to have a freind over. You may remember Loncrow, he's a freind of mine who I lost contact with. He's coming over on the 10th, which happens to be my birthday so that's great. We're going to play Dunegons and Dragons and knowing Loncrow Playstation.
Anyway, yesterday was Halloween. I didn't go out of dress up or anything. I would have licked to dress up, but I didn't get around to making a costume. I'll probubly do it tommorrow. Anyway, that's all I care to speak of today. Bye Bye.

I went to Toronto. I am back now.

So were was I for the last few days, well two of them were at the Autism Confrence in Toronto with my mom. Many people from all over the world came to celebrate Autism. It was a good time and I liseaned to many interesting people that helped me understand me and my autism. For one thing, alot of people who spoke said they have to take drugs, I don't have to do this. Personally, I don't see myself taking drugs at all. I also got to see Temple Grandin. We didn't talk, but I liseaned to her speak about being autistic and some of her theories on Autism and what the archeologists in the future will think of the cow-herding thingies she desighned are.
I also got a book called Urville, which is about a city made up by a guy named Gilles Trehin who has Aspergers. It has various pictures he drew of the cities buildings, as well as a time line of the city. It's pretty cool and I was able to get the last copy they hade (along with a button that says "I (heart) Urville"). My mom and I latter disussed that I could make something like Gilles Trehin's Urville book for Mythania, since my mom thinks Mythania is much more detailed. Personally, I think he did very good as he has desighned an entire city to some very good details. I suppose there are people who find Mythania interesting, so I may just see if Mythania can be published into a book. I also picked up a book about Neil Gaiman's Sandman, consisting of short stories by various other writers within the Sandman universe and a Michael Moorcock novel in which Elric fights the Nazis or something to that effect.
As many of my readers and freinds would know. I desire to go live in Toronto. I don't know were I came up with the idea, but I don't want to live in the place I stayed. It was all tall buisness buildings and folks in suits. I'd prefer a more artistic community. Anyways, moving to Toronto is still a long ways of if ever, since I'll be busy at university and trying to stop the apocalypse.
Also, I learned that down south in Yankeeland the traditional insulting of the opponents. Apparently there are these two people from opposite ends of the political spectrum who are insulting each other. I don't remember there names, which is good because they are both idiots. Everyone should forget there names because they are idiots and then they'd fell silly, which they should be doing anyway. All in all, if this is what Americans do during politics they shouldn't vote for anyone. I was thinking about starting my own party for the election, but it is based in my mythos so no one would get it. It was going to be something along the lines of "Vote Helen X. We'll get ride of corruption in the government by eleminating it," or "Vote for Helen X because everyone else is an idiot." or "Ask not what your country has done to you, but what you can do to your country. This November, vote for Helen X and put the mad dog down." I like the last one. Hope the CIA dosn't feel insulted. I'd apologize, but I'm not sure they can get me in Canada.
CIA, I don't want to harm your president. I think he's an idiot and that somebody should impeach him, and I believe that him and his supporters are all insane and should be institutionalized, as well as anyone else who takes this whole nation thing seriously, but I don't want to kill the moron. It's not polite to kill people, even if they are murderers. That's something a government would do.
Anyway, I'm going to go know. Need to figure out were I put my homework.

A letter to Kim Jong-Il

Dear Mr. Kim Jong-Il.
Hello. You don't know me, but I happen to hear your pretty keen on destroying western civilization. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of were we are going right now, but could you lean off the whole nuclear armeggedon thing? Nobody wants that. I don't know how you do things in Asia, but nuclear weapons just arn't cool. I realize you have a country to run, but maybe you should reconsider the whole concept of you know, killing everyone.
Besides, isn't it better for us to all get along? You seem to have a real difficulty with that. Maybe it's time for you to start being nicer to people. I know, America's being a really big jerk right know. There's been alot of name calling, what with you being called part of the Axis of Evil. And there's that new Behind Enemy Lines movie that uses thw whole Axis of Evil thing, but that's just propaganda. You know about propaganda right Mr. Jong-Il? Well, what I'm trying to say is maybe you should make the first move. Maybe send America a fruit basket. You'll find they arn't really bad people. There leader is just a dingbat.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is please don't kill us. I know your angry, but I'm sure this is nothing we can't solve with a nice sit down. Call me.
Writer.

My sister makes me feel sad

Well, I am a working man. My job is to underline important documents for a very important non-government place, but I can't tell you what else. Condididencial. The pay is pretty good, and beside the tedium I have no complaints.
I don't really know what else to say besides that. I could probubly go on about how I feel lonely and how I long for real human contact. My sister isn't really helping. Not the really little perky one, the larger negative one. She's good at that. She seems to get joy from making the lives of others miserable. She's like a postitive energy vampire. This is probubly part of the effect, me complaining how much of a rhymes-with-witch she is, but she really makes me feel bad. She's always calling me Emo, which she uses as a slur.
Anyway, one a more postitive note I am know on Book Five of the Dark Tower series. The Tower grows ever closer.

Wednesday and Today

Little update on recent events.
First, yesterday during second period art, their was a firedrill. Usually, the only thing sinister about this is a slight annouance to my schedule, but this one had an unusally mysterious as me and my fellow classmates sat outside for nearly an hour and the police were called out. There were many theories, such as drugs or a bomb, but I didn't get any answers. I thought it may have been a vast conspiracy, but that's just me.
Today, I saw the Glass Menagerie as a class project. It was an interesting play. I may go on about it some time, but at the moment my little sister wants acsess to this computer. See you later.

Soundtrack to the upcoming nuclear apocolypse

Looking on the website for Rolling Stones magazine and I found this. It's a list of songs to play at the upcoming nuclear apocalypse hosted by Kim Jong-il. Here it is.
“Atomic Punk,” Van Halen
“Fuck Armageddon . . . This Is Hell,” Bad Religion
“Goin’ to California,” Led Zeppelin
“Fire and Rain,” James Taylor
“It’s the End Of The World (As We Know It),” R.E.M.
And you can help too, just click here freeing me of any further responsibility. I'm thinking of adding Louie, Louie.

Canadian Thanksgiving

While all you Yanks were out celebrating Colombus day, we Canadians got to eat turkey and stuffing. Alright, the only confirmed American reader is Steph. But Megan might be from the United States as well. Not that there is anything wrong with being an American. Americans are great people. Some of my best freinds are Americans.
Anyway, I got a nice three day weekend which envolved watching two movies. First, Lucky Number Sleven. It's basically something about prganized crime I thought would be amusing. It was okay, but I'm going to stick with science fiction and fantasy. That movie had some examples of a real bad side of humanity. The twists in the movie were pretty good though.
Second, X-men 3. I've heard some bad things about this movie, can't think of any mind you, but so help me God I loved this movie. It went into a places that you just can't go into in the comic books, i.e. kill of some of the main characters. You just can't do that in a francize this long. That's why I like comic books without the standard heroes, it's more surprising. Anyway, I loved this movie and I felt a sort of relation considering the mutant cure theme which I felt was similar to a cure for Autism in a few places. Hell, change the words around and you got the arguement right there.
And now, the Thanksgiving dinners. First one was at my Dad's parents. It was a pretty good dinner. Dad's mom delivers again. I remember talking about something with Dad's sister, what was it now? Ah, I can't remember. But I did get started on The Vanishing Tower by Michael Moorcock. I'm on five books. Currently taking president are One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, by Ken Kesey and Wizard and Glass, by Stephen King (book IV in the Dark Tower Series). I'm also slowly working my way through The Two Towers and The Masks of God by Joseph Campbell. The Masks of God is a series documenting the development of human mythology. It was leant to me by one of my aunts.
The second one was more of a lunch. We went to my mom's brother's house. The stuffing was a little unusual, as the vegetables visible, it was still good. I bugged my mom's brother with alot of questions along the lines of "Do you have contact with any alien life forms?" and "Do you know anything about Rosslyn Chapel?" and "Do you know anything about a computer made in the 1940's by a secret cabal of superhumans to map the multiverse?" because he's a freemason. The only yes I got out of him was that he has been to other demensions, but that's only because he's a banker. We also watched a bit of Spaceballs, but the television got all screwy and I got bored with the movie rather quick.
Anyway, today in Health we played a game called Ultimate Chicken. It's like football only you chase a chicken and their's no physical contact. I won the winning goal and became Master of Chickens, which I emideatly told everyone I ran into, including a bunch of kids going to the science room who I heard say "Who was that? Why is he Master of Chickens? What does he mean by that?"
In Art I am working on a comic strip using plasticine figures. I made a plasticine Naos, a plasticine Ralph and a plasticine bunny I made in tribute to Matt Groening's Life in Hell. The plot I ripped of from a Frank Zappa song. It also includes refrences to the Dark Tower series and possibly the comic strip Krazy Kat.
And in English I get to read a Stephen King story. Huzzah.

Day off School

Today closes a major chapter in my life. I no longer need to get my back checked out at an out-of-town hospital. My curvy spine isn't going to get any curvier and I'm not in any serious pain. Looks like the sun is shining down upon me. However, now I won't be able to get time of school to go to used book stores and such.
Speaking of used book stores, I went to City Lights today and picked up some new books. The books were an Elric novel and a thing on the Samurai from the collection of some guy who had alot of similar tastes to me. Lots of paranormal, mythological and religious works. I also picked up Fly by Night, by Rush and a Greatest Hits thing by the Grateful Dead. I also ended up in a record store with my dad and picked up a CD from a band called Hawkwind. Hawkwind is a progressive rock band that Michael Moorcock worked with. It's kind of weird.
In other news, I may be getting a job at the Festival Theatre. I suppose that's a dead give away to which city I live in, but I'm still not telling you were. I don't know exactly what it entails, but I get my own office and I think I help with safety. Here's hoping they allow casual dress!
And that's it. Bye-bye.

LEADS and Dragonboating.

Six days and no posts. Far past time to get to work.
Wednesday i met my guidance councilar from LEADS who's going to held me find a job. We shall call her Kaylee, because she reminds me of the character from Firefly of the same name. Not sure why. I think it's the voice. Anyway, I showed her my regular haunts which didn't take long as I only have three regular haunts discluding School and my house. These three regular haunts are the public library (which she has already seen), the Book Vault and Tango's, a coffee house were I eat cookies and write stuff. We will be meeting again next Wednesday at Tangos.
Today however, I went Dragonboating in health Class, and I HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT! HATED IT!
Needless to say, I didn't find it that enjoyable. Unfortunatly I have to do it again Wednesday. Not fun.
And that's my life. Nobody tell me to hang in about the Dragonboating please.

Man, this post just got no flow bro

I am reading six books at the same time. This is a bit startiling for me as I usually limit myself to four, so I really want to finish one soon. The problem is I just can't stop as they are all so good. Thankfully I'm re-reading one, another is a book of short stories, and another is a non-fiction book. I figure I can put down Wizard and Glass for awhile and work really hard on Brave New World and Hearts in Atlantis.
Anyway, I feel like I have neglected my blog. Something that came up is the controversy of the Pope implying to accusing Islam to convert by the sword. My first response was "and Christianity converts by the dagger, cough cough "Spanish Inquisition" cough cough". However, it was later that I learned that Christianity may have converted by the sword to during the Crusades. The Crusades were a really bad for the Muslim world, since they hade a bunch of Crusaders coming and raping women and pillaging and such. Off course, the Muslims did attack Byzantium, making the Emperor of Byzantium call for help in the Western Church. Not that the Western Church helped as much as invaded Byzantium as most of the people in the Crusades just new that the "infidels" were in the east, and lookie her Byzantium is in the east. HULK LOOT!
Anyway, All I can say is that like most human wars, everyone in the crusades was an idiot, but the Roman Catholic Church is a bigger idiot. And also, Muslims should be talking this over. Another thing wrong with terrorists. If they're so pissed off at America for being Godless heathens or whatever, why don't they send some missionaries over and try to convert them. Huh? Wait, it all comes down to oil. The oil must flow and all that shit. Won't flow for long, then the Amish will rule all. I really think it would be interesting to see what a world would be like without any oil. I don't plan on living in it mind you. I'm going to hall ass to a safe location, write my novels and then maybe I'll start a real cult to combat the Communist Nazi Theocracy that will take hold.
Anyway, that's it. See you all soon.

Contemplating 9/11 and coming back to school

Today is 9/11. I just realized that things are never going to be the same for my generation. I suppose that alot of people have clued in on this, but this is a new sensation for me. A bunch of people destroyed something really important (that I never knew existed until they told me it was destroyed), and know we are blowing stuff up in the Middle East. Canada's in on it too know, since we are in Afganistan know.
It's just that things seem really grim because of 9/11. Once you just look at all the death going on in the world because of this, you just have to ask why the hell this is happening. I feel like part of the Scattered Generation. That's my word for my generation, I would have used Lost because I feel a great deal of Loss because of 9/11. Off what, I don't know, the people, our vision of society, the soul of western civilization as we know it. All those things. Anyway, Ernest Heimingway and his buddies already called the Lost Generation, and I real feel that we are scattered. Maybe we could also call ourselves the Broken Generation, because I sure don't feel that we are in complete working order. Maybe everything is Broken. Maybe we should just throw in this whole Civilization shit, since all it does is make everyone yell at each other. Maybe civilization is the work of the Devil. Maybe this is hell, which sure makes me feel comfortable, since I can only go up from here. Well, I sure hope that this is hell, because then Heaven must be really, really great.
Anyway, I've already got my share of work. I'm reading Brave New World, which is pretty scary for two reasons. The First Reason is the cliche, since it seems pretty close to own world, and second, it is kind of similar to the bit of my future history that I am know working on. The Feudal system, the sexual promiscuity, the conditioning, I even have test-tube people, but they are still used as slaves and human's still use sex to reproduce. I almost forgot theirs a third reason.
What if it's already happening?
Scary, isn't it.
Well, good bye. See you soon.

Final Day of Summer

Remember the Crocodile Hunter? Guy on the discovery channel, born in Australia. Says crinky a lot. Comedians made jokes about him getting really close to animals and picking them up and talking about how it’s a wonder he wasn’t killed by one. Well, it looks as if the comedians have predicted his death, because Steve Irwin was killed today by a Stingray near the Great Barrier Reef. I was wondering what happened to him myself, recently. So long Steve Irwin. So long.
So, back to my life. Tomorrow I go back to school. Somebody cue the music they play on the trumpet when someone dies. I don’t here anything. Aw forget it. You get the idea. As I have explained in my last post. I have some good classes lined up, but I don’t particularly like the idea of having to do anything remotely like Physical Education. I hate PE. This is the last bit of education I would take. I recognize that I need to stay fit, but I just don’t care for PE. Maybe it’s my personality. Maybe it was because of the jerks in Grade 8. Maybe it’s both, but Phys Ed is just not my cup of tea, especially since I don’t like tea.
So what else is new in Writers life? Well, nothing. I just felt like posting before I go to school. I also got the Animatrix on DVD. If you thought the Matrix trilogy was confusing. Take a look at this thing. It is freaking weird. My dad dosn’t believe that we actually bought it.
Kay. See ya. Defenetly going to be a post tomorrow.

Summer in review

School is two days away and looking back on the summer I have no real good memories. I read some good books. I got several new books. I have a new desk. I went to the cottage once, that's it. Last summer we went to the South West, that was memorable. This summer, I feel that it could have been more. I'm kind of disapointed.
I don't know what I was expecting. I don't think I was expecting anything. I was hoping that their would be great and magnificent Dungeons and Dragons campaigns. I had one all set up too. And I havn't got a chance to call any of my freinds over this summer. What I need is a Dungeons and Dragons date. A specific time were I can get the people interested to come over to my place to play Dungeons and Dragons, or any other role-playing game.
Maybe I'm a little nervous about school. This first semester shouldn't be all bad. First period isn't going to be much fun, just something on healthy living that I have to do to pass. Then I do Art, and Art is always fun. Then there's Lunch, followed by spare and finally English. For the most part this is a good deal for me. I like Art and English and Healthy Living is first thing in the morning so I can get that out of the way.
I also failed in one regard. I didn't complete my first guide to Mythania. I planned on working on that this summer and I havn't got it down. Maybe I should start know. I'm not sure how to start though. The best I can think of is just starting on Pancheya and all the various countries and working my way through Saranold and The Hub and the outerworlds. I'd probubly also work on a chapter dedicated to all the sentient races in Mythania all in alphabetical order, and their are alot of them. I would also have a picture of a male and female of each species (except for the draan because they have three genders, and maybe a few others. The ragondra and their ilke may have no gender as we humans understand). Then I don't know what else to do beyond making breid write ups of the various religions and philosophies of Mythania and then a history.
Maybe I should write an introduction, about what I feel Mythania means. What does Mythania mean? Well, it is basically my idea of a perfect world, the Commonwealth at least. In the Commonwealth, people of all kinds of racial, religious and territorial bounderies get along and work for the betterment of sentient life. Sure you got a bunch of aggressers from the Council of Nine and the Saranoldi Empire and that third force I havn't worked out yet. But for the most part the Commonwealth has existed in peace for most of it's history. Many people within the Commonwealth would probubly look upon our world with disdain. The draan would definetly look down on Bush. They'd be fasinated to make contact, since their are a few schools of philospophy in Mythania fasinated with ancient h'mans, which is basically what we are. Their arn't any real humans in Mythania, they died out at the end of the Second Age or evolved into different species such as the Talortreal, Aedonite, Saranoldi and Tribesmen. The legacy of the h'man is seen across most of Mythania, including these fragment races and races like the Nyhib'ru, who claim that their faith was given to them by an ancient h'man tribe. (It was. The Nyhib'ru are basically avian Jews, besides the fact that the Church is run by females it's almost identical). Well, that's enough on my Mythania rant. I will stop know.
Also, I seem to be better at posting when I'm at the Library for some reason. Don't ask me why? I don't know. Maybe it's just a coincidence. I just feel like I want to post and I just so happen to be at the library. The world is an odd place.

Still waiting for school

Saturday, me and my dad went for a guy's night out. Mainly we went bookshopping mainly, which was good for me since I like books. This is a list of the books I got.
  • First Edition of Dune, by Frank Herbert
  • The Oak and the Ram, by Michael Moorcock (Book Five in the Corum series)
  • The Eye of the World, by Robert Jordan
  • Dreamer of Dune, by Brian Herbert
  • Hearts in Atlantis, by Stephen King
  • Man of Two Worlds, by Frank and Brian Herbert

I also picked up some supplies for watercolours. I forgot to get flesh tones and brown. I'll have to pick it up sometime. Dad went to a stereo store, because he like's stereos. Then we went to a pud called the Fox and Fiddle and discussed a Dark Tower movie, well seven. I'd make it myself if I wasn't so against remakes of books into movies. People should make original movies.

I am liseaning to my yahoo radio and am liseaning to a song called Roland by a band called Interpol. I can't tell if it has anything to do with the Dark Tower series.

I got buttons somewhere on the internet about a week or so ago. They said that they'd be here in 8-10 buisness days. My mom says it's good we got them because I have something to look forward too for the rest of the shortly dwindling summer. This is a list of what the buttons say...

  • Warrior Poet X-ing
  • Define Interesting. Oh God, oh God, were all going to die!
  • I'm Aspie Get Used to It.
  • Something in Elvish
  • WWMD? What would Muad'dib do?
  • Something to do with my anarchist leanings

I'm liseaning to a guy called Tom Russell, who has an album called Love&Fear. I don't like the song, but it sounds like something my dad would. So I'm writing this down as a reminder.

Okay, that's all I can think of. Hope that the buttons get here soon. Till next post.

Waiting for School

So School is fast approaching and I have mixed feelings about it. What I really want to do is call over my friends for a great Dungeons and Dragons game in which we kill all kinds of orcs and creatures of Shadow and bad guys. I haven’t hade a real good Dungeons and Dragons game in a while. I’d really like to just not be the Dungeon Master and work completely on character creation, since I don’t think I’m that good on being the DM. Maybe I could get a good DM in College or something. Anyway, I feel I’ve got some good stuff going for this adventure. I may even send it for publishing in Dungeon Magazine. I also plan on doing something with Vampire Bugbears for some reason.
Also, I will be going to get new art supplies this Saturday. Me and my dad are going to have a guys day and go to a used bookstore, get some watercolors and probably go to a stereo store and go to a movie. I hope to pick up some watercolors to do something with them, mainly since that is what Alex Ross works with and I really like his works. I also hope to have an effect similar to James Bama, who is another artist I admire.
In other news, Chinese citizens are increasing attendants at funerals by renting strippers. I do not kid. Click Here for more information, or just proof that I’m not lying to you. I can except that. It should make all the idiots in charge of the world trying to kill everyone disapear for a while.
Okay, that's it. Hope these links work
