I haven't been blogging recently. To be honest I don't really see much of a reason to. I'm not saying I'm abandoning my blog, but I'm not going to be writing for a while. I don't know how long exactly but blogging is not something that is taking up much of my time these days. I might start in the new year, but otherwise I don't feel I have anything to say on my blog.

Hey, this is your missionary reader from West Africa! First I need to say thanks for the shout out a while back. I have been in the deep bush for a while so I had a little catching up to do. I hope you keep us updated on how things are going.
After reading of your interest in Judaism and Biblical studies I thought that you might enjoy a visit to a Messianic Jewish congregation. Such is a body of Jews who believe Jesus (Y’shua) is the Messiah. They do tend to very in practice from congregation to congregation (what I mean is one might be quite charismatic and another conservative) so don’t be quick to dismiss the first one you might visit.
The great benefit in visiting such is how their teachings pull the Old and New Testaments together. They tend to point out things which you want hear even at seminary level classes (trust me I know). I was an elder and chief teacher in one for a number of years. I feel that from what I have read in your blog that you might find such a visit a real joy. PS: they tend to meet on Friday nights in keeping with Jewish Sabbath tradition. I am not trying to convert you but just thought that you might enjoy the visit. Keep in mind that Messianic Synagogues very; don’t judge them all by the first one you might visit.
