Twitter

Blogging has a new form, and that form is twitter. From my understanding, twitter is like a normal blog except a shorter format and more famous people. I just discovered Neil Gaiman is on the twitter. Some people have even become twitter addicts, i.e. people who cannot help tweeting, a tweet being a post on twitter, or someone who is on the tweeter. I don't know, because I'm not getting involved in this. I prefer the long ranting format that blogs allow. I was hoping to go longer, but I don't think that this is all I can manage at the moment. Well, at least it's longer then a twitter post.

Mostly About Kabbalah

Something appears to be up with this computer. I think I am approching the time when I need to change my virus protection. Who's idea was it for computers to have viruses anyways?
Most of my time since I got the letter about Remodernism has been concerned with writing outlines for my English exam. I am going to have to answer three out of the six questions I have been given and I am writing outlines to give me an idea of what happened. So far I've planned out most of them or have an idea of what I'm going to do with half of them. After that I will be looking for a summer job, so I have money to go to Revel and buy books. My parents have me on 20 dollars every two weeks, which is a bit less then what I used to have. 20 dollars per week. Apparently Allen Ginsberg had 15 dollars a month when he was at University. He also was obsessed with Neal Cassady, who wasn't interested in Allen in that way though apparently they did have sex. I feel like a kindred spirit to Ginsberg in many ways, and I'm hoping to learn from his mistakes so I don't make them. It's very easy for me to fall head over heals in love with someone, it has happened before. So far I haven't been overwhelmingly obsessed with someone.
I'm starting to wonder how much of my life I should put down in my fiction. For awhile I thought this may be a bad idea, but I think that it would be a nice place to start. I don't want to be one of those writers who just rewrites his own life into fiction. I think I can do that, but most of my story ideas are leaning towards historical-occult fiction with various esoteric Judeo-Christian overtones. I'm thinking about looking into this sort of thing, I've been toying with studying Kabbalah for a long time now, ever since I read Promethea, and will be doing it in the fall since I am defenetly taking the Kaballah course. I'm probubly one of the few people who didn't get into Kabbalah through Madonna these days. To be honest, if your going to get into Kabbalah then it would probubly best to get into it from a comic book written by a British man who hasen't shaved since the Thatcher administration, studies the Western esoteric tradition and once saw a fictional character he invented in a bar then a pop singer from the 80s with a coffee table book about sex or something like that. Or you should at least learn it from an old Jewish guy. Also, selling Kabbalah water for $2000 dollars is probubly the stupidist thing I've heard off since, well bottled water. Water should be free and should not have anything to do with ancient mystic paths unless it is a metaphor for something, like rebirth or something.
Basically, what I know about Kabbalah is that it is supposed to be an "operating program for the human soul." Besides the Promethea comic book, most of what I know is from a podcast on the know defunct, Out There. Out There is a pretty good podcast if you want an introduction into the world of occultism, conspiracy theories, fringe science and weird stuff like that. Some of the episodes freaked me out, such as the one about 9/11 truth and another on 2012, but others such as Kabbalah and the episode on James Shelby Downard that proved to be very interesting. It's really something of a crap shoot on the affect, but either way alot of the stuff I hear on this will probubly worm it's way into my writing. I'd like to do a conspiracy novel based on the writings of James Shelby Downard at some point, but were talking about Kabbalah. Basically, it's very complex, has a cool tree thing and will give it's practitioner the gift of Prophecy, which is something that sounds pretty cool. If memory serves, then to practice Kaballah one must get involved with making humanity better while studying alot of ancient texts, specifically the Bible but you can use it on anyting according to the person who read it. I imagine that the Orthodox Jews would say, no you can only use the Bible, but I imagine that you could use the Bible as a sort of basic text and everything else can be a sort of spring off of that. It works too, because apparently people who study English Literature do much better if they're familiar with the Bible, because it's the basis of Western Literature. I can connect the Bible to all of the books I'm reading now for instance. The Brothers Karamazov, easy. Dostotevsky's work is fundamentally Christian. What's Bred In The Bone, deals a lot with Christianity's affect on the main character at the moment, and it also has an angel (The Lesser Zadkiel) and a daimon who's name I forget, who are working on said character's biography. Also, I wrote an essay recently about Allen Ginsberg that compared him to an ancient Hebrew Prophet, only with more homoeroticism. Not sure how Jews would take to most of this, but I'm sure they can admit that Christians are really just unclean slightly-pagan Jews, mainly since most Christians aren't going to kill the Jews for saying that and because it is basically true. I'm comfortable with being a bad pseudo-Jew myself, I may even work on becoming more Jewish one day.
Well, that is all for my musings today. I'm going to talk with a friend of mine now.

I Meantime To Postage on New York But I Had Noticeable To Sayable

Tomorrow I return to University. I'm pretty psyched to return, since I got some pretty awesome courses lined up. I do need to pick up the books that I need for my course. I'm not sure what these books are exactly though.
My new laptop is broken. I may have gotten into explaining this, but I have one of those new Acer laptops that a couple of you may have seen. The real small ones, the baby laptops, yeah those are the ones. Well, mine isn't doing that well at the moment. It's frozen up as is my complete body of work, all two short stories and three poems, not to mention the one short story I was working on. I hope that my Uncle can fix it.
I ran into some old friends and we talked a bit about my writing, most notably Last Dance Revelation or Revolution. Anyways, she (it was a she) said that it sounded more of a movie, which is something I think she mentioned before. To be honest, I think she may have a point. The story does deal a lot with film. There is the issue of how I'm going to get the money once I film it, but I think that maybe Last Dance Revelation could make a good movie. I'd have to trim it down, read a couple of screen plays to see how they work, and probably take a few more film classes, or if I can't do that then I'll have to start going to Generation X and the Princess Cinema to learn more about movies, not to mention reading my entire film text book.
I'd have to do a lot on the movie. If I'm going to write it, then I'm also going to direct it. I don't want some chump messing up my story. Someone I know told me that there are a lot of good Independent Companies in Canada, and maybe I'll hook up with them. There's also a film club at Waterloo, I could probably sign up with them, see if I can't learn anything.
And finally, the strangeness of the title is part of a surrealist game I did on a lark. I replaced the words I wanted with the word in the dictionary it was under. I may do this more often, next time I'll do the twenty-third word under maybe.

Busted Computers make me angry

My home computer, the one I usually use, has a real bad virus. We aren't going to use it for awhile and this is a problem for me. Not only do I not like using the older and slower computer, but my Itunes information is on the other computer. I can't recharge my Ipod on the other computer either. I still got some good battery power on it, but I don't think it can last much beyond Wednesday, and that's only if I don't use it.
The job search still isn't doing well. I looked around in the newspaper and I found ads to start a home business and work at a cosmetics store. I don't know if I can work at as a cosmetics store, and I'm unsure if I can do a home business. I'm thinking I may start busking, reciting poetry for loose change. I don't know if that can work. When I get home I'll be calling my employment specialist.
On another note, I am trying on writing more often. I'm hoping on getting ten to twenty pages done per day, not including blog entries. I think this is a good way to start and as I get more time to write, and better endurance I'll work my way up to twenty. This will take awhile of course, and I am also reading three books at the moment. I also plan on reading some short stories, since I could probably make some money off of that. Not much, but it would get me noticed. So far I only have "Godot is Dead," but I'll pick up a few books of short stories while I'm at the library. I have The Complete Works of Edgar Allan Poe beside me now. That should be a start. Also I have a bunch of science fiction magazines at home I could read. I haven't read science fiction in awhile and with the Robert A. Heinlein novel "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress," I plan on returning to more. Specifically Heinlein, and Spider Robinson who is like a hippie-folk singer version of Robert A. Heinlein.
I'm starting to wonder what kind of mode my fiction will take. At first I thought I'd write science fiction, then I figured I'd write epic fantasy, now I seem to have abandoned my original concept of an epic fantasy realm. At the moment, the closest thing I have to an epic fantasy is the Hippie story(ies) and that hasn't event begun to be written yet. At the moment, I don't think I have any specific type, any specific genre. I'm just going to great works of literature that bend all genres. I might still write an epic fantasy, but I think it would be something like Stephen King's Dark Tower series. No elves or dwarves or hobbits or replicas of medieval Europe. I'm probably going to be more inspired by Islamic society of the Middle-East and India. But at the moment my two main concerns are The Last Dance Revolution and the really really big Hippie book that is going to be at least 500 pages. I'd go into more detail, but who knows what kind of dirty little plagiarists are trying to steal my ideas.
So, that's it for today I suppose. Below I have the Question of the Post. That is where I ask you your opinion about something. Read and reply.
Question of the Post: Do you enjoy reading about all the updates in my life? Do you find it helps give me a more personal setting? Do you think my life is boring?

Am I Mankind's Only Hope Or Am I Crazy?

Well, I got an Ipod for Christmas and it's pretty cool. I got 519 songs approxematly on it at the moment, and I'll have at least twenty more unless I can find a decent CD. Most of the stuff is pretty recent, but most of it's pretty mainstream which sucks. So I'm probubly just going to see if I can't track down the soundtracks to Quentin Tarantino movies because you know he's always got good music. I've got the soundtrack to Kill Bill Vol II up at the moment, which looks promising. What I'd really like is a soundtrack to the Big Lebowski, but I don't know if that's going to happen.
Wow, okay I did a bunch of stuff and now I am apparently downloading the Lebowski pod cast, being a podcast all about the Big Lebowski. It's free which is great and very "dude" of them.
Okay, so I was reading Mondo Primo's blog, about how Norman Mailer is dead and how he was a really great guy and how things are really screwed up and I was wondering if I could do something about this. Most people say I shouldn't worry about it, but If I don't worry about it then how am I supposed to worry about it. The problem is should I even be worried that people are becoming less social. I'm autistic, god damn it, if this keeps up then my people will be your suppreme overlords and then you NTs are going to have to follow our irrational rules. But that dosn't mean I don't want to socialize, I just think it would be nice if things where more authentic. Ah, I don't even now what I'm talking about. Forget it.
I'd like to say hi to Shelia, and thanks for coming back. We really missed you. I sent you an e-card but I don't think you got it. Be seeing you.

They cancelled Little Steven's Underground Garage so know I have to listen to archived shows that is if my little sister isn't on the computer. DAMN!

Recently, Little Steven's Underground Garage has ceased to be played on my local radio. As I am a big fan of this particular radio program, I am greatly disappointed. I should probably call them about it. Anyway, this has caused a great change in my calendar. On Sundays, when I knew that I would be able to listen to Little Steven's Underground Garage and I wouldn't feel so bad. Now, I just lay in my bed and await the inevitable. Come to think of it, listening to Little Steven's Underground Garage is probably one of the ten top ways I would like to die.
Does this mean that I can't listen to Little Steven's Underground Garage? No, I can listen to archived shows on the Internet (see link). But I have to listen to it the moment I get home because my sister tends to bring a friend home most days, thus interrupting the episode. Except for today when I forgot to put it on. So know I have to wait until tomorrow because I also have a mind load of philosophy homework.
School has been going well. I'm bonding with alot of people at the art table and I'm going to get on to my first piece of art "The Extinction of the First Kingdom of Yazan," this week. I also need to figure out what my next pieces of art will be.
Well, that's all I care to mention today. Be seeing you.

Be careful what you eat and my Lost theory

Good news, I have Internet access on one of the home computers. So I can blog from the comfort of my own home. So now I will tell you what has been going on in my life that is worth talking about.
First, a bag of Valentine's chocolate cookie things. I found a bag of them beside the computer. So naturally I took some. They were pretty good, but then I read the instructions and it sounded like it was an aphrodisiac or something. I asked Dad about it and he said that all aphrodisiacs are placebos. I suppose this is good because I'm not sure I should take aphrodisiacs.
In more important news, I have a new theory for Lost. My theory isn't going to be much, just a simple prediction. By the end of the series, everyone will have died. I'm just getting this in. So far while I've watched they've killed of Ana Lucia, Ecko and there is a good chane Charlie is going to die. There's also Michael who betrayed the Jack, Kate and Sawyer. He didn't die but he did go away so him and his son Walt are out of the picture. Oh, and there was Hurley's girlfreind. I forgot about her. And a few Others, but there just annoying because they don't tell you anything and you know they got some bad stuff going on, but there not going to tell you and it's all really Clockwork Orange. And don't get me started on the Polar Bears.
So, that's about it. There are more things, but I got distracted by the internet and must now go to Bed. Tomorrow, stuff about some way cool movies from the Giant Squid. (I.E. Dead Man and The Big Lebowski) Both are great. Go see them. Study them carefully.
